Eagle Projects or Board of Review.

Roger Knapp will now be head of the district advancement as of Nov 6, 2003.  I want to be available and ready for your needs.  Call me for project approvals or Boards but understand you need to plan ahead.  Last minute rush jobs does no one a favor.  Appointments for eagle project approval or eagle board of review can be done by any of the first three on this list.... Roger, Randy or Carl.

Important! The most common problem with National BSA not approving the Eagle
Badge is Registration from beginning in Scouts to Eagle board of review.  Check with
the Registration Dept 214-902-6790 to be sure the scout was officially registered
before the board of review.  This is especially true if they are over 18 yr old.
Also be sure the scout has had at least 6 months and 1 wk
in the leadership position after the date of Life.

IMPORTANT!  Starting Jan 1, 2009 you will need to be doing your advancement online.  Circle Ten will have us
require a printout of your advances and merit badges from the online site at the Eagle Board of Review.

We frequently approve Eagle Projects and do Eagle Boards of Review at
Woodhaven Presbyterian Church, 3650 North O'Connor Road, Irving TX 75062
Eagle Projects from 7 to 7:30 and Boards from 7:30 to 8:30.  Call/email to set up a time
and day for this.

Instructions for project approval and Eagle Boards

Suggested steps for your troop to get project approval or prepare for the board.

Please ignore the "twelve steps to Eagle" printed on the back page of the Eagle Project Workbook.
Circle ten does not do it the way it is written in that publication.

Alternate Eagle MB Plan for scouts with disabilities.  This form should be filled out and
forwarded to me to take to Council Meeting for approval.  This allows the boy to substitute
MBs that he is capable of doing.  It will allow him to continue to work on his eagle past 18yr.
