Advancement for Five Trails District.
My Opinion about Gays in Boy Scouts
Eagle Projects or Board of Review and MB College
Roger Knapp has been the head of the Five Trails District (formerly Western Star District) advancement since Nov 6, 2003. I want to be available and ready for your needs. If there are questions about advancement requirements please call or email me. Call me for project approvals or Boards but understand you need to plan ahead. Last minute rush jobs does no one a favor. Appointments for eagle project approval or eagle board of review can be done by any of the first four on the following list.... Roger, Randy, James, Carl, Chris, or John.
The members of this committee are:
Roger Knapp (Chairman) 972-986-5976 Randy Svajda 972-257-0183 James Roman 972- 816-1907 Carl Proctor 972-255-2743 Bob Byrd Rufus Woody 214-762-7709 (c), 972-462-1386 (h) John Hayes 972-964-7007 Important! The most common problem with National BSA not approving the Eagle
Badge is when the boy is not Registered during and just after the eagle board. Check with
the Registration Dept 214-902-6790 to be sure the scout is officially registered
before the board of review. This is especially true if they are over 18 yr old.
Also be sure the scout has had at least 6 months and 1 wk
in the leadership position after the date of Life.Roger and Randy frequently approve Eagle Projects and do Eagle Boards of Review at
Woodhaven Presbyterian Church, 3650 North O'Connor Road, Irving TX 75062
Eagle Projects from 7 to 7:30 and Boards from 7:30 to 8:30. Call/email to set up a time
and day for this.

Alternate Eagle MB Plan for scouts with disabilities. This form should be filled out and
forwarded to me to take to Council Meeting for approval. This allows the boy to substitute cub scout achievements and boy scout
MBs that he is physically not capable of doing. It will allow him to continue to work on his eagle past 18yr.
He must complete all requirements for that rank that he is capable of doing before requesting these changes.
See: Alternate EagleScout lifesaving Merit National Awards ... form to fill out and I will take it to Council meetings.
