Hand Foot and Mouth Disease

This is a viral illness mostly in children and typically in the Spring and Summer.  I usually has no fever or very low grade.  There are a few blisters on the hands, feet, roof of the mouth, and rarely in the groin area.  It lasts for a week and most kids will get it.  They are contagious through saliva for the week but by the time you diagnose it, they have already exposed everyone.  I do not think it is bad to send them back to school since everyone will get it and it is not dangerous.
